The researchers prepared copolycarbonate films via solution casting (Figure 6a) to
investigate optical characteristics. All films demonstrated transmittance exceeding 85%
in the 450-800 nm range and over 90% in the 600-800 nm region. Increased IIDML
incorporation reduced transmittance at 400-500 nm, attributable to the yellowish hue
of the monomer precursor.
Notably, PIsIeC exhibited comparable or superior visible light transmittance to BPA-PC
